Powdery Mildew in new Grow

okay so i happen to be a beginner grower but an expert carpenter... my question- is your insulation not covered by sheet rock or plywood?... i say this bc your insulation being submitted to the same elements as your plants would cause your insulation to begin to hold in moisture... or it may be wet already... check your insulation and remove if you see wet spots or anything resembling a fungus... insulation is the perfect breeding ground and all it takes is a small amount of water...

yeah my basement is unfinished, and the builders did pink insulation where the cinder block walls are about the outside ground line in the wood frame. I'll actually probably pull it out in the areas of my grow, not too worried about the energy efficiency in that small area i guess.

keep ur humidity below 50 percent will help i use actinovate its a bacteria and i water with it

Well my goal is that I don't want to spend my just starting growing career managing a disease. Unfortunately my access to clones and seeds is pretty limited. Everyone around here has mites so taking cuttings from ppl I don't know is especially risky. With my plants at least I know what my problems are. My goal is to manage the symptoms and get them to veg a bit. Then I'm gonna blow em up with a systemic. I was thinking immunox. Same active ingredient as eagle 20 but 1/10th the price and available local. Then I'm gonna bleach out my grow area. And continue with th immunox up until maybe 4 weeks to harvest or once or twice a month. Lucky one of my strains is LA confidential. It's supposed to be particularly resistant to mildew, hopefully it will take well to the cure. One of my juicy fruits is rooting particularly well, and I would hate to trash it. I just don't have access to variety, and I'm a bit paranoid for international seeds. I thinking it might be greedy/risky trying to save it, as I'm thinking that may be the strain that brought this whole problem on.
