Just got 2 high yielding master kush clones, unfortunately they have powdery mold on it, I am going to make a run to the local hydro store tomorrow and get some neem oil. In the meantime can I put these to clones under my lights with my other vegged plants or will this spread amongst them all? thanks in advance. CHRONIC:bigjoint:

Hey dude!! top tip from Jorge Cervantes and his book "Marijuana horticultire" 2% bleach in water will keep that bad ass stuff away from u cuttings. Been using it on cuttings and seedlings with no ill effects for a while now.. So cheap and simple I have found no need to spend cash on anything else. You really have to keep them from any fresh air and extreme heat to even get a touch of the damping off or any other fungi. Give it a dose and hopefully it will sort it's self out. I use it as a preventative measure so cant say if it will remove it once there, but I would think it would buddy. Dont be scared when you smell how strong it is when you mix it up. It has been used to combat fungi for ages on plants. Please let me know how you get on. I am feeding 4 cutting with it just now and fed my 2 big plants at birth. It was always a problem for me when doing cuttings, the damping off but not now. Happy growin..

thanks for the info man, but my main question was do you know if it can spread from plant to plant because personally i have never had this problem but these clones i got from a buddy happen to affected by it. I read that sulfur and water solutions are great to use as well.

Why would you want to follow through with these clones? ditch the moldy clones and get something clean to grow

Go to your local Water To Go purified water places and they sell alkaline water by the gal. Its just r/o water at 9.3-9.5ph (yes you can just make it yourself with ph up i guess but not as clean as the first idea). Basically make it rain, it'll wash the powder up and it won't grow back, to high of ph

Don't stick them under the lights with others in veg just yet. It will spread if your environment favors PM growth. Deal with the PM first. If your strapped for cash use 1 tbs Baking soda in 1gal of water. Maybe a few drops of liquid castile soap. (Dr. Bronner is good)..

PM also can not grow in a high pH range so if you raise the pH of soil or wipe down the leaves with a high pH solution, you will kill the fungus. When a problem like this arises, sometimes the best bet is to control it, not try to eliminate it since you can damage foliage by spraying with this and that and god know what.

Also, yes, PM is from too much humidity and not enough airflow, but it can not survive in water. It sounds crazy but water will kill this fungus. You can wipe down the leaves everyday in the morning with plain tap water (better if your tap is a high pH) and this will control it, and possibly eliminate it. It's time consuming and you must pay attention to detail, but it can be done.

To prevent further infection keep you night temps on the warm side and provide ALOT of circulation.

Or Get SNS 244 fungicide spray( I advise to use this because it's natural and pretty safe to use). That stuff kill the spores. You can spray the leaves and spray all over the Ambient area of the plants. SNS fungicide is organic and will inhibit spores from spreading to other plants.

If all else fails, Toss the problematic clone, Weed will never be eradicated so it's not like it's the last clone you will ever get your hands on. Patience is a virtue.
