Powdery Mildew

I'm growing a few plants in pots outside and I've got one that is flushing right now and about to come down in a week that looks like she is starting to develop powdery mildew. It looks like it is in an early stage and wasn't there at all three day ago. One person told me I should treat it with a baking soda/dish soap mix and another grower told me that I should chop it down now and start drying it. I don't know what to do, this is my first grow and I don't want to lose my plant. Is it too close to harvest/would the baking soda/soap combo wreck the buds??? what should I do?

Thanks and Cheers!!

You can spray them with pm wash. I woudnt recommend spraying when you about to harvest but you can still do it to eliminate pm.

iv had the problem with pm with indoor grows before ,if its at a early stage and you ready for chopping soon i wouldn't worry about it to much, what i used to do to slow it down is spray with milk ,low fat milk diluted with water ,just give a good dowsing on effected areas try not to spray the buds tho i know its tricky ,it will work for a time trust me ,but it will come back eventually ,but it will give you a bit more time ? .

i had problems with pm some time back & it did my head in .i did a lot off research on the fucker & i finally cracked it ,touch would iv never had a problem with it since . i would recommend on your next grow buy some neem oil ,tad expensive £18 for a small bottle but boy this shit works .i sprayed my plants at around 4-5 weeks on veg ,then again when put on flower just before they start budding ,brilliant

If it is coming down in a week there is nothing to worry about. I would go ahead and put in in 48hrs. of complete darkness and chop it afterwards.

organic solution>2 to 1 ratio of water to lemon juice will lower the PH to 3.1 then spray the leaves ..works great. or buy some stuff called PM remover kills on contact it contains postassium bicarbonate and a lil garlic just bought some at the grow shop and works amazing
