This is a new problem for me and has been showing up with increasing regularity over the past two weeks. At first I just tried to pluck the offending leaves and I also sprayed three times with neem oil as I was told this was an easy solution. Well needless to say that the problem hasn't stopped. Anyone personally dealt with this problem before and now a sure fire method to fix the situation? I am not against non organic solutions provided they work.

ill pick this up in the morning. From what I've read about it I will use it as a spray on the leaves once a week until the problem is solved, but I read a few warnings against spraying the buds, specifically that the buds should not be smoked afterwards for some reason. Any insight on this?

You can smoke buds that you sprayed with green cure. It's just potassium bicarbonate. Worst you will get is a slight soapy like taste.

as long as it doesn't pose a health risk and still gets you high as it would normally I suppose some flavor and or harshness is more than an even trade t fix this.

Picking off leaves doesn't help much because the infection is systemic within the plant. Once it has PM it will stay in the plant unless you can suppress it to the point where it cannot continue to feed off its host. Greencure is a good cheap option, I used serenade which smells like stinky feet, if you hit any buds with that stuff consider it trash. Best thing you can do for PM is create an environment which will stop it from growing, intense light and very low humidity. It does like to propagate in dry conditions though.

Tru Blooms stops mold. You can spray it up to a week before harvest. I do every time. No strange tastes either. It is microbes that compete with mold for leaf area to thrive on. Then when the microbes die the plant absorbs the nutrients they ate and broke down. Every 4 days until last week of harvest.
