So my power went out about an hour ago. I'm growing I DWC and well you k ow what that means. No air. I couldn't get my hands on any battery powered air pumps so I figured if I can top water the plants every 2 hours and soak the roots I might be ok?????? So my 6 plants are I. Empty buckets right now. Am I crazy. I was also thinking of alternating 2 hours I. Water two hours in empty buckets. Help please. These are. Y far the healthiest nicest plants I've had and don't want to loose them. Thanks for any input.

I would try and keep the water nice and cool. If your electricity does not stay out for to long, you'll be fine.

Next time, power inverter, marine battery...
Yeah I know. This is my first run with DWC and I thought of it and put it off like an idiot. I had surgery this week and this power outage came out of nowhere. It's just gonna be like having a new baby at the house. Wake up to feed her every 2 hours.

You can go about 24hrs with out air-ration of your nutrient solution, after that you can add sum H2O2 to the nutrient solution probly get you another 24hrs

So 14.5 hours w/out power 7 dips and leaves are still perked up. Lets hope this doesn't last more then 24 hours.
