Power problems for the past few days..(floweiring)..

So I found out my planets were in mostly darkness for the past 3-4 days instead of their 12/12...got them back under 12/12 light now on one of my power things...should be fine for now. My question is, how bad are they messed up? Only big difference I saw was some hairs are already turned red. They have another month of flower to go. Should I be worried about hermies?

:wall:

i do this at the start of flowering with no problems and i have heard of people doing it at the end of flowering, but i think you should be fine considering their more sensitive state (flowering). it better than the alternative and having had the lights ON for 3-4 days... let me know what happens

also when i would have turned the lights back on i would have set it the same photoperiods as they were on before the outage, just to maybe make it a little smooter

your would have deffinatly stressed your plants , how long where the lights off ? where they off for long periods?or where the dark periods interupted by the light turing on for a little bit ? if your plant has gone 3-4 days without no lights well then your plant could hermie and was probly starting to die off

There were def. periods of 24 darkness with a little periods of light between. The darkness def. made a lot of the hairs red early.

WTH?

LOL, Anyway....they should be okay. As long as it wasn't the other way around(light instead of dark), your chances are pretty good that they'll be fine. I'd still keep an eye on them though, just to be safe. :)

red hairs sometimes turn back on their color when you flush!! and so do trichs!!

^LOL, Where the hell did you hear that crap? Once either of them change color, that's it, they stay that way. The only thing I've noticed that could make a person think that, is that new pistils usually sprout shortly after a flushing, and they are white. Maybe that's where the confusion came from? :)

if your at lets say... week 5 of flowerin and your trichs are milky and you flush them the color will become clear again so you can prolong flowerin and continue to bud the plant!! I HAVE done this...only twice but I have done it !

Well I tried flushing even though I doubted it would do much, and basically begged my babies not to hermie on me...seems to have done it...

They have their scent back nice and hard now..im taking this as a good sign...crisis averted :)
