Powerbox flipbox's

So im adding another 600w tent to my setup. im going to run them on the flip but was wondering if I use a flip box instead of a second ballast do I need to run a light controler? Id rather just use a standard timer if I could. The model im in question about is powerbox's single ballast two light model.

I was.thinking that if I have to buy a light controller I might as well buy another complete 600w system with a/c hood and digi ballast for $260.

flip box: $130
a/c hood:$80
cheap bulb:$30
Light controler:$130

It would be alot cheaper to have 2 ballast running on there own 12/12 cycle. Whats your thoughts?

2 ballasts hands down. KISS.

flip boxes have their own timer system. you dont really have to spend $130 on a controller anyway.
up until i bought my matrix ballasts i ran on $10 timers, never had an issue.

I already have a handful of titan apollo 8 timers on hand so thats what I wanted to hear. I guess ill just order up another 600w digi dimmable stystem. Seems like a better deal, all in all the flip box system without light controller is only $20 less then a second light setup. Thanks for the input guys ill be ordering tonight
