Powered by digital ballast

Hi just wondering if anyone is using a led that's powered by a digital ballast that powers a hps ...... I've come across the omega black 720w led and the luumi black 720w led that are both powered by a 600w digital hps ballast ... the manafacturer both claim that by using the digital ballast it keeps the cost of the led fixture down ?? Can a 600w ballast run a 720w light ???

Yes you are using one or the 600w ballast would power the 720w of led

Basically you have the option of giving more power and they reach 720w.

All ballasts have the option of super lumens and give more power

That's the super boost option ain't it on the ballast ?

The real power will be +/- 660w and the other +/- 60w remaining will be the losses generated by the ballast.

Can the fixture be run at 250 watts and 400 watt settings too I wonder?
