powering CFL lightbulbs

first of all i am so friggen stoked that theres a CFL section in this forums xD thx whoever set it up. second is there like a lightbulb to electrical outlet adapter? i wanna set up 3 CFLs on a power strip but i don't really know how to :/

in addition to that part above. you can buy a splitter that would screw into that part, allowing for 2 cfls out of one outlet on your power strip. By doing that you can get 6 cfls on one power strip. If you can find the part above at your hardware store those will be not far.

that is what it looks like, works great.
WOAH dont do that!!! thats a fire hazard!!!! those little socket adapters arent meant to to handle the splitters and the extra voltage of two bulbs

no its not. ive made plenty of cfl fixtures where i had 4 outlet to socket converter w/y splitters in a powerstrip and it is well within the range listed for said items on them.

the wattage for the converter and splitter is the same, and the power strip its self would be fine, they are only light bulbs. if you do have room for it i would do so.
