ppm meter drop in water help

i drop my ppm meter in my water tub. i dry it out and now it wont turn on..,,, there any way i can fix it or take it to a shop maybe?? also i got a police scanner that been drop too many times and i need that fix too

What type of meter. How long did you let it dry. Did you try to turn it on after it got wet.

If you turned it on when it was wet at all or if it was on, its probably fried. There 20 bucks on ebay, not sure if its worth taking in to have it fixed. Most shops will charge you 20 bucks to walk up to the counter to talk to you. Just get a new one.

that thing cost my $70 its a green one from the hydro shop. it was on with it was drop in water then i dry it out then it wont turn on
