PPM needed

I was trying to find out what is the basic ppm i need thru plant life i know everyone does a lil different and every plant is different but what is basically needed and whats too high of ppm through the life cyle for dwc. im at 400ppm at day 15 and i think they would like a little more. Also check out my grow and give any pointers +Rep for help.:fire:
 
i know they say go by the bottle but thats for vegtables and shyt and i know marijane needs less somtimes so if anyway has a rule of thumb.holla holla. (im using GH flora nova grow + bloom)
 
What's the PPM of your water? If your PPM of the water is say 150 then nutes would only be 250. How are the plants looking?

Generally speaking it's:

0-400 for rooted clones/seedlings
400-800 for veg
up it to 1000-1100 when you switch to flower
1000-1400 during full flower
400 or less for the last two weeks
plain water the last couple of days.

Yeah, those are the numbers I use as well.
 
I think you use them as a general guideline until you see how your plant reacts. They are all a little different. Personally, I'm pedal to the metal most of the time. Just watch for nute burn and flush every once in awhile. I also use hygrozime to help clean up any problems. Those that survive and bear well are now mothers. If you're new to gardening in general ( I'm not I have 25 years as a soil gardner) you might want to take it down the middle of the road until you learn to read what the plants are telling you.
 
Yeah, Blueybong does that with good results but that is livin' on the edge and it might be strain dependant. On my bagsed grow I'm running at around 1500 but replace with clear water with a little hygrozyme as the plant drinks. That way they are hungry for more when I bump it up on the res change.
