I only grow in soil, but I believe that in both soil and soilless mediums, your PPM level depends on the stage and age of the plant. Try searching for "PPM Chart", and/or asking in the Hydro forum.

PH for soiless should be maintained at 5.8, as for ppm's, use this chart as a starting point, adjust as you like, your plants will tell you if it's too high or low.

PPM for Hanna Chart PPM

Seedlings, Early Sprouts ..100 to 250
Early Vegging ......................300 to 400
Full Vegetation ....................450 to 700
Early Blooming ...................750 to 950
Full Mature Blooms ...........1000 to 1600

Edit: some plants can tolerate higher ppm's while others can't, it's up to you to observe your plants.

sry what do you mean, the plants will tell you if its too much or too low?
Your plant will show signs of nute burn by having the edge of the leaves start to looks rusty in color than dark brown and so forth, also your plant will look really dark green, too little and your plant will look pale in color, sort of lime green.
