ppm question

Tham! U guys confusing the shit outta noob! Lol if its a seedling should be close to zero as posible but lets say for examples ur tap is .150 that should be good for seedlings.
For 3-4 week sprout say they have more than 5 nodes it should be 200-400 for bigger lets say a a six week old plant in veg 400 -600 but heres the kicker.. not every plant will respond well to readings above 400 so u need to be able to read ur plant at this point. Once in flower it may respond well to 400ppm or it might want more than 400 ppm so if ur in bubble buckets err on the side of caution cause some are sensitive to high ppms. And its easier to add than it is to dilute but thats why i think hydro would be easier than soil cause u could adjust on the fly and the readings are imitately noticeable.

C'mon young bull your gonna have to be more specific then that. I mean what the ducting? I dont know if theres any good threads about that on here you'd have to check i just know how to do that shit. I mean your 19 right? Doesn't anyone else you live with know how to do any HVAC? This kinda shit aint complected but you do have to use your noggin a little because every house is different. Maybe i could do a lesson via skype

theres just soo many varialbles. This thread could get preaty educational if you can provide the right type of information though. We need pictures of everything and a list of exactly what equipment you have. A diagram of the room with dimensions of everything would be best including the windows of course. Dont worry about smell yet we havnt gotten that far

That seedling looks sick. You are already losing the battle. I hope you have more seeds. Put one in a Jiffy pellet, water with tap water, when you have a nice healthy seedling put it in your DWC system. You will find that most people here don't know how to figure ppm's and the newbs confuse the new newbs even more. That's why most have switched to EC. There is still math involved with EC too so I don't know if the numbers thrown around are accurate or not. If you get a some kind of TDS meter, read the instructions and learn how it works and keep your EC below .5 for small plants and gradually work it up to 1 EC if they can take it. Good luck.
