PPM run-off for final water

I've read alot of mixed reviews and advice on where you want your PPM "runoff" prior to chopping. I'm thinking 300-400 should be good is that right in your opinion ?

* Note * I'm 14 days out from harvest and have started using straight water ph'd @ 6.2 - I also read plenty about how you want to use straight water for the last 2 weeks. No bloom mix, etc... Agreed ? I don't want harsh smoke, etc...

As long as you are getting runoff with an EC it's unlikely they'll starve. I don't know about 2 weeks. I feed light enough that 10 days is pushing it with plain water. I'm also in peat.

I’m pulling mine this Saturday my run off is 300 ppm ph is 6.0

Silly "rule" made by an overly anal grower who attempts perfection by #'s...

If you didn't over feed in the first place......Run off ppm is meaningless!

The last cpl of weeks.... Generally in synthetic use....I'll drop my N and K some more. Up the P a tic.

Let it get to about a 3-4 day window and stop all nutrient use..... Not to do anything to the plant but, to reduce nutrient use costs.....That's 3 to 4 days of save nutrients.
Multiply that by X value of plants and you can see the savings....It's doing nothing for taste or burn of the final product.... Any nutrient the plant needs at the time is being moved about in the plant (if it's a mobile nutrient) by it's self...

Checking runoff ppm and pH is the latest unnecessary fad these days. If you're growing in soil it's meaningless since the materials in soil all break down at different rates and have different ppm and pH levels as they do. The readings you get from runoff are not representative of what's in the soil the next day. If you're growing in coco just water with proper levels until runoff. There is absolutely no need to check runoff ppm's or pH if you feed properly.
