ppms and water suppliers, what does it mean?

this is a report for the mg/l or ppm in my area, does this mean that my ppm will be the max listed? (232) i have not ph'd or used an C meter on my water atall and just fed tap water so far, but i am concerned it will affect them at some point.

so, if anyone know how to describe these details to me i'd be very greatful :-P

Means you need to use ph down in your water before you give it to your plants. You need to keep it in 5.5-6 range. Im very new at this also.

hard water means the nutes u use dont 'dissolve' into the water easily and your plants cant take them up. dont get too stressed on it though, most new growers drive themselves nuts worrying about that kinda shit. grow your plants, feed them and just let them be. you may not achieve huge yeilds but as long as your getin sumthing your doing ok. after you've grown, and worked out your system. change little things and see how it goes.

i found out that 1ppm = 0.07 Clark degrees, so its about 230 ppm out of tap.

That's close, but you should be ok. Usually, you would want your ppm's 200 or less for tap water. If you're in soil, you should be fine. Hydro, ...............
