Growing in DWC buckets. My PPM is dropping without topping off the reservoir. Does this mean I should increase nutes?
CalmagIf your nutrients aren’t just dropping out of solution (give it a stir) then I would change res and DROP EC a bit. As you probably figured, this (basically) means the plant is full up on water and is drawing nutrients only from the solution. Usually this is temporary... in the case of very high EC.
What nutes are you using and at what EC?
Look into a product called Southern Agricultural Garden Friendly Fungicide. It is the same product but like instead of being 2% it's 98%. The Hydroguard is basically expensive water.Hydroguard
Get up to around 2.0 ECEC is reading 1.4, TDS is 735ppm

Definitely hungry. I have never grown an auto. I can say that I take my rooted clones directly to 2.0 - 2.2 and they just explode. How long has it been since you changed out the reservoir? If you use the calmag to get you up to about 250 PPM and then go with your base to 1000 PPM then you should be good to go. If using the Armor Si with RO water I add it first, then calmag, then micro, grow and bloom. I found that I have to add the armor si last if running my tap water. Basically I use it for a pH up buffer. Thanks for the tip.
I am growing autos, is 2.0 too high? They're 3 weeks old, about 6" tall. New growth is also wilting a bit, I think I might have a micro deficiency. Maybe sulfur... I'm debating on changing the res.
Any thoughts on what's going on here? This is happening to all new growth not just the canopy.Definitely hungry. I have never grown an auto. Thanks, I did top off with a higher strength solution and some bennies. If there are no results, I'll just change the res. It's just hungry IMO. Plain and simple. Either the pH is off causing uptake issues or you need more PPM or you have a root health situation going on.
