praying mantis on plants

So i have found over a dozen small praying mantis on my plants over the last week or so. mainly since flowering has started. i have a couple questions. does anyone else in northern california have this problem? i read that gardeners use them to kill pests so maybe they are good for the plants? i had been taking them off but maybe ill leave them. i just found one again when i went outside and thought i would ask. thanks

no! leave them on there! they are our friends and eat all the little leaf-eating bastards on your plant

they are not a problem, i have a praying mantis buddy that has been on mine since birth


they chill and eat bugs... the stoners of the insect world if you ask me, except they are very very successful at what they do =)
