Pre-flowering, I think.

This is my first time growing, I was taking pictures yesterday, and I fucked up and left one of the plants outside of the tent. Now, today, the one that got left out has what I believe to be calyx development. It's also the tallest one, and I'm right at like 5 weeks vege, so it could just be time. I don't know what to think, but I'm afraid it's male. Tell me what you think. This isn't the only suspected calyx, just best picture quality.

hard to tell right now. after you switch to 12/12in about 3 to 4 days you will be able to tell the sex. nice first grow so far. keep it up.

Thanks dude, My other two plants haven't shown sex yet tho, and I wanted the nodes to develop a little bit more, is it cool to just leave it in pre-flower for the time being? Time isn't really a concern for me, I just want the best yield possible.

Word, you know, it took me a little while to figure out how to use it, but rollitup is actually very useful to me, as a novice grower.

that is deffinitly a preflower. but its too early to tell. usually when its pointing strait up like that youll see pistills pop a few days after. i noticed the top part of my plants is where the preflowers show. i had one plant that i was sure was a male. and i waited on someone heres advise instead of killing it and 2 days later there were pistils.

Yea, I've been eyeballin all day, and at this point, it could go either way. But update, further up on the same plant, I discovered even more calyx, and even found two on the top part of another one. I know that that's just the natural progression of things, but I'm just so excited!!! Only one plant left without calyx! I've had them in some small pots, but I was reading a thread last night talking about pot size, and mygirls said he had that monster in his picture in a 19 gallon pot. I'm gonna go out today, get at least 5 gallon pots, transplant them as soon as I can tell sex for sure, and let them vege out for a few more weeks. Get some good size going on.

i use 5 gallon pots usually but i just planted 45 seeds a week ago and it look like im gonna be going for many smaller plants rather than the 10 good sized ones in 5 gallons i have now. right now i have a 400watt hps over 10 flowering plants, i also have another 2 100 watt hps on the side getting light to the 45 seeds and the sides of my flowering plants. i dont know what im gonna do i think i planted way too many i think.
