i have my plants in the veg state 24 hours a day under t5s ....one of my plants started to kick out flowers (i thought it was budding ) so i put a post up on riu...and got a reply that it was the pre flowers ......so my question is since it is pre flowers, its a girl right? and if i take some clones from it will this be ok? and last one ...why does this happen since it never has been out of 24 hours of light a day

oh yea it looks a little funny like a dwarf plant starting to bud but the seed were taken from the same bag peace

they will put out preflowers when they are naturally mature enough to begin budding. You may also see the branches growing from the nodes go from being symetrical to asymetrical growth. The female preflower is a little cone with two tiny hairs coming out the top. If you are seeing these then your plant is female and you can clone it.

if your plant is still in its veg stage you can clone with no worries. Plants in flower can still be coned but depending on the strain it may be a big hassle. They aren't in flower until you put them on 12/12 lighting, unless you paid a lot for autoflowering genetics. Some pics of them would help answer any questions you have :)
