You seem to be side stepping the question quite effectivly (You wern't in the Clinton administration advising Bill during the Monica scandal were you?) so my assumption is you cannot reinforce your claim that Leaching reduces harvest quantity.
After a quick parusal of the book in question I find a plethora of Organic information - would you like page numbers to make it easier?
As for shredding the book, I'll leave that to the Nazi's and other closed minded folk.
