Preflower?

I was wondering if my plant will flower in 12/12 by now. Its bagseed so it could be male or female and i want to find out before i waste my time so can i preflower it and reveg if i wanted?

Could the purple on the stems be genetics?

yeah in 12 12 it would by now. They look distinguishable enough that they seem to be starting. If there were pistils or are then she is ready

No pistils yet, its currently on 18/6. Will preflowers start no matter what or do I have to switch the lights

But the purple is only on the stems of the leaves and the stock and branches are super green, from what I've seen and read, it looks like genetics

looks like a lady to me . the long pistol at the internode is a preflower and by the looks its a girl.... pass out the cigars !..:-)

So they will preflower regardless of light cycle? Wooo what a relief to know she's a she! How big will she be if I veg till february and put outside to flower? I don't really have another choice but to wait till the days get a little longer again

Also, I think what u guys are seeing is a stipule.. looking at it closely, they are green and don't look like pistils

it will look like stipule .but its showing sex by being long and pointy . if it were a male it would be shorter and rounded on the end

It is a stipule, what ur looking at has grown with the plant the entire time.. ill take a closer pic next time I get a chance.
