preflowers?

noticed these little guys growing between nodes the other day, my plants are on 24/24 in veg. This is my first grow so im just curious to what exactly these mean.

thanks for the help and if you have any other advice i'd appreciate it.

Is this your first grow??? Those aren't pre flowers. Those are your secondary branches. What are you growing? Regular or feminized? Donuts or donut holes?

usually plants preflower once they have vegged for 2 months roughly or you may have old clones, old clones stay preflowery, either way preflowers are your friend and warn of unruly dudes. there is a slight chance with light leaks that your plants may preflower as well, one of the techniques to force preflowering(and early sexing) is to wrap a node or two in darkness for 12 hours for a few days to see if your plant is female/male. but that requires you know what a male vs. female preflower looks like ... (see experience)

yeah, i specifically said this was my first grow because i'm genuinely unsure and looking for help

ive never heard of wraping a node to sex it,lol,anyone else heard of this? sure dont sound like that would work,not when the rest of the plant is in light,
and yes your fine,those are more branches forming at the base of the sun leafs
