Premade organic soil

So i am currently using FFOF and want to switch to a organic or more organic soil. I have the Foxfarm nutes that i can use so id rather use them instead of having a "hot" soil like FFOF. Whats the best pre made soil i can buy at store or online?

This is my 2nd grow. 1st i didnt use any nutes, this time i wanna experiment with them.

Best? Probably Dragon Fly Earth Medicine lol if one can afford.. unless you can get some soil from one of the gurus who make it from scratch

We can also walk you through sourcing your own stuff and building a soil from scratch so you know what and how much of what is in it.

Remember, once you have a really high quality soil it will treat you sooo damn good that it will change your life forever

FFOF is organic so use it as-is just add non-chlorinated water. I tossed out all my nutes long ago except for the big bloom which is organic. You can use BB with some EWC, molasses, and kelp to make a halfway decent AACT. All the other FF synthetic nutes suck IMO. Hot soil just means there is a lot of available N & that's only a bad thing for seedlings or tender young clone roots. Just add extra perlite and maybe even some coco to cut it down if you need to. I suggest getting some liquid fish and kelp meal to "experiment" with. Brewing AACTs is way more fun than mixing up crappy nutes plus it's cheaper and better for the environment too. Learn about recycling soil; it gets better with age.

If you want to use nutes through the whole cycle you would do better with a medium made for that.

Pro-mix hp is my favorite so far but has a chemical seedling charge of NPK and a wetting agent.

Sunshine 4 is similar but has organic inputs for nutes and moisture.

They drain well and only offer about a week of nutes then need fertigation.

I want to run dwc side by side my soil clones, can you point me to somewhere I could make organic nutrients useful for the dwc? I'm having a hard time finding anything organic for hydro

That's because organic hydro is a misnomer. You want a sterile environment for hydroponics. A DWC is like the perfect conditions for anaerobic bacteria to grow so in practice you won't be able to keep ph in range.
Just go organic in soil or stay hydroponic with nutes; you cannot straddle both disciplines at the same time. There are "organic" nutrients out there but chelates of any sort still force feed plants and most will not do well in a dwc. For example I like using neptunes harvest liquid fish but I doubt you would want that in your res; it smells like low tide lol

I am having good luck with Dr Earth Nitro Big and Golden bloom in my hempy buckets.I only add kelp and cal mag.

yo man, i was planning on getting liquid fish then moving up to where i have large aquarium available, so that i can feed a living system, so yeah, i'm not really looking for something too simple, and if the smell is a problem, i'll have to get a Carbon Filter, it'll be more Polite to my Neighbors, at the very least, during flowering at some point hahaha. And I'd really only be flowering in the bucker, clones would only need to root, then Flower, so i think I'd easily be able to keep up with one five gallon bucket of clones just circulating fresh nutrients and keeping the water a living ecosystem to break down the nutes i do put in.

is why i'm trying with wheatgrass first, not to waste clones, then i'll try tomatoes, then lady jaaaaayyyyyyy

btw, i WOULD consider chemical nutrients, but it's a requirement to be organic where i live, in my head, so i'm kinda gonna persevere no matter what. Always appreciate advice, still gonna be looking for organic DWC advice for SURE if anyone wants to contribute, and documenting at my Journal
