I don’t use those rates of rock dust anymore. 5 years ago when I was starting no till that’s what was suggested. After getting my soil tested I came to the conclusion that I didn’t need that much.Hey there, is it okay to ask a random question? I noticed your listed super soil is pretty rock dust heavy compared to other super soils I’ve seen. Mind explaining your thinking behind it? Not knocking it! Just curious, as I’m learning. Also wanting to confirm you plant seeds directly in this? You don’t put at bottom 1/3 rd of container only like you read elsewhere? Thank you!
These days I’ll use 1-2 cups of rock dust per cu ft of soil at max. After I get my soil tested I add in micro sulfates to adjust everything to the way I like it.
yes, you can plant seeds directly into this mix and they will do amazing. This is a start to finish mix and you’ll have great results so long as you keep things simple.
