premature auto harvest advice needed

Need advice please dudes.
Heres the info. I have autos in my shedat 10 weeks old and almost a week away from finish. Heavy sticky buds and they stink, thats the issue. They are in a 80x80x160 tent under 600w hps and an extrator fan.

The smell hasnt been that bad until the last two days when its getting to the point where it may bring unwanted attention.
Should I turn light cycle down to 12/12 and turn off the extractor fan for a few days and finish them off hoping the fan off doesnt spread the smell so bad.
The other idea is just to turn off all lights for 3 days and then harvest the plants?
Any advice?
Ps im defo buying a filter next time!

Also this is my first grow, so despite being an idiot and having no filter, I think I did pretty good.

only thing you can do is get a carbon filter as quick as you can that matches the CFM rating of your fan and attach it to it. turning your fan off wont do anything but make your grow hot. the smell will still find its way out. good luck!

Do you think I could get away with harvesting a week early? Get more of a head high than a body stone?

oh you only got a week left? ya you can harvest a week early if you want but if its not flushed properly the end smoke could be a little harsh.

all i grow is auto's i quit flushing a while ago i just slowly cut nutes back
good cure will fix alot

chop them
but be aware they stink almost twice as bad when you start trimming

Hmm. I only began to fluch two days ago. I wonder If I flushed for the next couple of days. Just ran the lights for 8 hours at night with no exhaust fan, as its a small shed the fan is spreading the smell like crazy, would get away with it?
Or could I give one more large flush and just leave in the dark for a few days?

This lesson is being learned the hard way!!! Ha

find some ona gel, most hydro stores carry it for about 20 bucks for a small can of it. Its industrial strength air freshner, should help with the smell. nothing is better then a carbon filter though

leave your fan running. dont want to over heat your grow and kill the plants this close to being done. the smell will get out with or without your fan running

Just checked them there now. To be honest I think I might just get away leaving them in the dark and chopping. Anything is a bonus on the first grow I suppose. I just dont want unwanted attention from the neighbours.

you mentioned that it's good smoke. if so, go ahead and chop. it's better that getting busted. next grow check out low odor strains. i grow northern lights and cincy99 which are both low odor. the cindy doesn't smell at all unless you rub against it and then it releases a sweet pineapple aroma. GL

Well after some careful thinking I decided to keep the light and fan on and reduce from 18/6 to 14/10 running from 8pm to 10am, when theres less activity outside. I also pointed the fan away from the door and to the back of the shed. Hopefully itl make some difference and im gonna brave through the last two weeks.

Realistically their just not ready yet.
