Preparing an Amazon list for first grow! Can anyone check it out and see what to improve?

I'm about to start my very first grow and have done a lot of research digging up what people have had success with. Some things are still pretty up in the air at the moment for me though. Particularly lights. I know COBS are the gold standard right now, but since it's my first grow and I'm not even sure if I will enjoy doing it, I don't want to invest another 400-500 in lighting.

I've had so many varying opinions. Some say and show amazing yields with the cheap Amazon LED's, while other say they are power hungry, heat generating, piles of garbage. They seem to be where I need to go tho.

I'm torn between which company to go with. Vipaspectra seems to be popular here after searching a bit, but it has super low red spectrum so people say its not great for bloom. Mars Hydro seems to be the usual newbie light, but a lot say Vipa is way better. Eventually I landed on Roleandro, which used to be Galaxyhydro. I've had a lot of people say they are great lights, and they are by far the cheapest 300w, but they are also the least reviewed with the least information. I like that they aren't blurple.

And on top of that, I'm not even sure which light within the various brands to get. The 450w Vipaspectra is super popular, the 600wats in each seems good, the Mars reflector series has a lot of love, and Roleando has a few COB lights out, but with cheap cobs. Do I 600w vipaspectra and pick up a Roleando 300w to make up for the lack of red?

My plan is to grow 3-4 plants. I live in southern California, and nowhere near the beach, so heat is a huge issue. My power bill is also insane, which is why i'm looking to LED over HPS.

I grow in a similar size tent (4x4). I wont comment on the light you chose, but I will say that in that twnt i started with 600w MH/HPS and now its that PLUS another 350w of COB LED lighting. I dont have any experience witb the light you chose, i just want you go make sure you have adequate lighting for that size twnt and for the number of plants youll have in there.
Another tip is to get the GH FloraNova series rather than the Flora series. The FN is 2 parts: Grow and Bloom and they are super concentrated!!!!
You know what and 8f you want to save even more money, get the FloraNova Bloom only and use it throught out! It has more cal and mg than the grow and we all know how much calmag our girls like and for growing in coco that is even better since coco tends to lock those a alil. It also has plenty of N for grow that you can use it to feed them in grow at lower doses and then just up the dose when you flip many gentlemen grow with the FloraNova bloom alone and with good results.

I'm into my second grow now, so I can't give an expert opinion. I started out with the Vipaspectra 300 but switched to the 450. Both units served me well, but I'd definitely recommend the 450 over the 300. I can't complain about the lack of red, since I don't have other lights to compare it to; however, I was very happy with my yield.

That's what I'm afraid of on light! Hopefully I can manage to get enough without breaking the bank.

Il go with bloom only too! Any cost savings are a plus in my book!

That is good to hear. I think I might go with the 450 then. I'm still researching a bit more into roleando, but viva is sounding really good if i can figure out the red light issue.

Just a few things i thought of reading your post...coco is a bit less forgiving than soil and yields only slight increase In grow speed that you will likely not see anyway yet first time and all.. fabric pots are just that while smart pots are a brand of... Air pots are plastic with large holes or lines cut out. I would personally go with soil, this way you don't need to worry about ph nor buying the ph supplies, you can also switch to organic this way which has a slight learning curve but that's the way to go when it comes to end product imo... It's all preference but that's what I've had good luck with.
