Preparing for a first grow.....

Can anyone refer me to thread that addresses this: I'm a California Medical Marijuana patient and can grow a little weed. I think I get 6 plants at a time. I have a little bathroom with a standup shower and a toilet. It's 7ft 5in by 5ft 5in. It has a fan. What I want is the most THC I can get out of a few high-quality plants. I can spend about about $500 + seeds max! What lights do I buy? What else do I need? Is there a "one stop shop"? Where I can just buy it and get started? What is the best "light kit" and "hydroponics set". I should have a "how to book" here any day, but I know nothing. To save money on medicine, I'd love to grow some awesome exotic plants. Any thoughts?
