Yeah, coverage is definitely an issue with the Optic lights from what I've read and heard. I'm having trouble figuring out which lights from their product line that'll cover a 4x4' nicely. I could:
So I'm not completely sold on the Optic Lighting solution and is still open to other(JimmyIndica)'s lights. But for now I see them as a viable option to my lighting needs - not perfect, but better than nothing lol.
- Get a 400W and deal with the shortage in coverage using DIY COBs (which will come at a much later time)
- Get two 200W and space them out for best coverage (which I'll take a guess and say that its still not enough)
- Get 3-4 120W and space it evenly - might provide very good coverage but I'm not sure about the performance of the Vero18 vs Vero29 chips and penetration
- Spend a lot more and get 4x200W - might be perfect for coverage, but NOT an inexpensive solution
