1. While driving down the road, a firefly strikes the windshield of a bus and makes a quite obvious mess in front of the face of the driver. This is a clear case of Newton's third law of motion. The firefly hit the bus and the bus hits the firefly. Which of the two forces is greater: the force on the firefly or the force on the bus?
I think this information may be misleading or at least in the context of which you are providing it.

The answer to which force is greatest will be of course the bus. However the force exerted between them is equal to the reaction. It's been a while since I've been drilled in this but can you tell me what other factors are missing that would allow the forces exerted by both to be equal which would lead to mutual annihilation?

Also the examples given in there site does not represent equal forces but equal reactions to the forces exhibited. It's been a while so I could be wrong about this also, the language can become confusing if its not used on a regularity.

Here is a quote from Dr. H.R. White in his speech, "This Momentous Day" 'Each smallest act of kindness reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far awy. Likewise, each small meanness, each expression of hatred, each act of evil.' It is EXACTLY this that I'm talking about.

Self-knowledge and self-love open the door to knowing and loving others. If you despise yourself, you cannot truly love another, and in this failing lies destruction of the inner spirit.
