Even if he is Jewish, he is a zionist Israeli and probably a Trump supporter. Besides that it doesn't negate the fact that a standing US president was only willing to condemn it once criticized. Prior to his weak condemnation, he was unilaterally claiming that a spate of hate crimes were all to be blamed on the very people targeted. Also, white supremacists are his biggest base.
