Do you know if I were to add kief from stuff that isn't really fit to just blast into a mix of decent stuff and will mix into the solvent?

So after blasting the grand daddy I went through my trim/shake/nugs and got most of the dry water leaves and nugs seperate but now I have a bunch of stuff not worth blasting if I were to put it in a bubble bag and toss dry ice in and make some kief could I mix it into my trim I'm going to blast does that sounds like a good idea? I've heard blasting straight keif doesn't go well.

I'm so upset my gauge won't ever go past 29 hg and I got a 7 cfm pump I'm getting pissed I just tightened almost all the connections and still nothing.. Fucking best value vacs.. Oh yea my vacuum pump little plate fell off like nothing. Thought they were semi reliable.

If I'm not mistaken depending on your elevation 29-30hg is max vac. Have you tried the boiling water test ?

Where the vac connects. Was trying to tighten the rest of the connections.. I'm taking it to a shop in town that ordered it for me and gave me a deal they have a bunch in stock and will hopefully just replace it and deal with it themselves. I know the owner well luckily haha

I am in low level elevation California like under 200 or 300 ft max I think I forgot know it's not enough to make an affect my cousin gets a full vac in his oven. And what's the boiling water thing?

Not sure on the temp the water should be to start the test 70f I think but. If u put a cup with some 70f water and pull a vac it should start to boil away once your vac reaches full vac. Or something like that been a while since I read it Google should fill in the blanks.

thanks man .......i learned some other tricks
1 if u are a passive system invest in a real gas scale a bathroom scale is hit and miss(end up doing a double run not enough gas)
2 pellets dry ice is the shit for dewaxxing collum but suck for cooling the main mass tank or chamber.......10 lb blocks best buy
3 a cooler for the alc ........like a sports cooler u seen them dump on a coaches head(hot days area will eat up the cold in just a bucket more ice need to get to temps).......other part is use a towel to keep coold air in hot out block breeze
4 tigthen down the connections if u plan to turn the gas tank upside down finger tight works on gas but not liquid
5 a cold gas tank hung upside down will warm up and push liquid faster then standard heating with a pic cook top
6 with a temp gun the silver can be misleading best to use black tape above the lvl of the freeze alc ........aim the dot there to get a closer to true reading
i found the best temps are -15 for sucktion (cooler is better faster and more pressure) and i like using 130 on the chamber to purge it out ......rem large amount of tane in there cold u want to go slowly
and for the love of god .......using a large amount of tane like in a lb extraction make sure u let the alc out of the dewaxxing collum and let it warm up.......extract some of the gas then turn the ball valve once u see the pressure is negative then remove the collum (i made the mistake of leaving the alc and dry ice in it held some od the gas p there lost some oil)......check the walls of the ball valve if u see streaks of oil or any golden color u did not have enough tane
but when u are done for the day .........suck out the chamber to negative 25 30 head on the pic top 130 45 mins .......come back suck out again to same pressure and leave take off heat leave until moring .......u have some heat stable oil.....heat vaccum chamber red neck style .....no were near as good but safe for pocket in a oil slick thing
as for getting it out .......i am doing several runs collecting the oil heating to 120 and then pouring out .......u do lose some that goes into the groove for the gasket .......if anyone knows a better easier less sticky way to get out 5 10 oz at a time of some heat stable shit please share
that is all i know so far ....sorry for more mistakes then normal on a tablet computer

So after plenty of runs and slabs I changed my oil and noticed particulates in it and was wondering if there was a way I pulled out heads while pulling a vacuum on my tube so I can pressurized before I add butane to soak. I got on average 10% yield from my larf runs but some where as low as 5% when it was the exact same material blasted done the exact same way and everything
