Pretty sure I have thrips.

This plant has been weird since the beginning, but now I think there's an actual problem. I say this plant has been weird because when I topped it, it grew 4 new colas and what almost looked like it tried to go for 5. On top of that some leaves have grown all fucked up looking. This is the only one showing signs like this, and its grown next to a few others.

looks like mildew. thrip damage makes small tiny spots. thrips use their antenna to pierce through the leaves and suck the nutrients out leaving a small dot.
Thank you, that would actually make a lot of sense considering its humid where I live. Well, time to make some changes.

That was what I did first before I came here but I didn't see any eggs or bugs. Maybe I'm just tripping but the mildew is considerable for me at this point.

when you use neem oil, spray it on the soil and underneath the leaves, because thats where thrips and other insects like to lay their eggs. i spray my plants with neem oil once a week to prevent aphids and mold.

Mildew will form white patches on the leaves, and thrips and mites leave visible bite marks. Not seeing anything like that in your pics.

I wouldn't worry about a few wonky leaves or branching structure as long as they look healthy, which yours do. I thought the original GG#4 had twisty/curly leaves as an identifying characteristic...

I don't see signs of mold, mites, or thrips, but it brings back memories of the genetics from Tweed/Canopy growth with a strain called "Bakerstreet". Literally every single fan leave had leaflets doing this, only even worse. 3 out of 4 plants also grew fasciated stems. It took 14 weeks to finish in flower, and didn't yield well. The smoke was okay though.

Do you know what this is?
Looks like it could be some sort of bacterial leaf spot to me. Those affected areas get blacker later if it is. How is your ventilation and air movement? Are you spraying the leaves at all with anything? It could be introduced and spread by sap sucking insect pests too. Often one issue causes another. I think of it as nature's "Double Tap". lol

Just in case it is, I'd remove any affected leaves immediately. Left on they will cause more spread and cannot be saved anyway if my guess is right.

Not thrips. If it was you would be seeing jizz stains on the leaf ( silvery streaks) from where they've been eating.

I find i get this ( leaft curling to the side ) when I've gone a bit overboard on root stims ( could be wrong ), or in early to mid veg from clones, but I don't see any bug or fungal damage.

::edit::

Tried to zoom in on a few pics but there's too much glare on the parts I need to see so I can't make it out.

Are there white slug like trails on the leaf surface ? The ambient light is hitting those parts and makes it hard to see.
