price for quantity?

I know the laws, you can only buy 2.5 oz per transaction. If I wanted to buy a pound, what's the best way to go about it? Best quality. Would I be able to do several transactions with the same supplier within a day or 2? If so, what would the price per lb be? Would I get a discount since I'm buying weight?

"A Pound" costs the price you get it for. since medical laws don't currently support transfers that large then why are you asking?

Abe, you must not of read my post entirely. I asked if a caregiver has enough overages to to equal a lb, would he be willing to cut the price down if I was willing to buy the whole thing in 2.5 oz incriments. Like $150 an oz. The law supports tranfers of 2.5 oz if I'm not mistakin.

I think the current rate is 1.52 for a pound....... At least I think that is the English exchange rate for a British Pound.

You said several transactions in 2 days at 2.5 ozs a day comes to 5 ozs. Why would need a pound in 2 days for then?.

Now that I think about it you shouldnt even be dealing in pounds........ There was a thread around here about people wanting you to use two dollar bills instead in support of the marijuana cause.

I live in cadilac where the prices are outrageous. $275 an oz, sometimes I can't even get herbs. All the caregivers are bull$hit. I smoke a lot of herbs cause my back problem on top of being crippled. It's difficult for me to get rides to Ann arbor and Detroit to buy herb. I don't know why I have to tell my life story to get an answer. I wanted to know if I can go to a bigger city to get a cheaper price. At the same time, get enough quantity to where I don't have to make a trip for 3 or 4 months

A caregiver would give you a figure that isn't the same as a med shop. It would be the equation of cost covering for the whole grow including electricity used and future estimates on nutes and time spent caring. As a caregiver I wont do 2.5 because the exchange rate is unequal you could get 2 over the course of a week but the price isn't effected by total its per cost of 2 broken down using a formula I create to figure cost. That number isn't set by the state but the tax is. btw you should never push a caregiver to average the price out because each grow is different and often we are as low as you can get because we realize people cant afford that shit.

Homegrwn, what are the prices at the med shops? I've only checked craigslist. I called a few shops, and they don't discuss prices over the phone

I think it boils down to trust. You can't expect a complete stranger to do this for you considering the raging boner our AG and others have over this plant. If you started out small with someone and developed a relationship over time you might find what you are looking for.

It is all about who you know and who you can trust , with that said a pound of shit weed might be 3,500 an lb but then again a pound of fire might be found for less amongst friends and others networking . But with all honesty the answer to your question should be so , and if there are no breaks for buying bulk it is bullshit as this is the number one rule in the pot distribution system .. If this simple code is not being honored it is simply time to move on ..
