Midwestish Prices......

First off all the dealers call anything green dro..........LMAO and they all like to through the word kush on anything nowadays...Prices I have seen in the last 2 weeks....REDICULOUS

Swag 30$ a qt
What I would classify as decent they charging 50/100
Supposed Deathstar 500.00 oz
Some decent outdoor homegrown 250.00 but selling on the streets for 350.00
some purple something 30 a gram

Needless to say I can't wait untill my grow is done...

it's all where you're at. If in the US most of what is good is coming from the west coast, where depending on who you know you could be paying $150-250 an oz (or substantially less if you are buying large quantity). As you move east coast the black market price goes up. I've seen oz's in new york go as high as $700 for an oz of good stuff, same stuff I would see go for $200-250 on the west coast.

Our reimbursement from the clubs is $3,800 for organic indoor OG. They turn around and charge $50-60 per 1/8. I can tell you that the clubs are making the real $$$ here. They make $2,600/elbow in a couple days for what took us 3 months to grow.

The real bummer is when they charge 40 per 1/8 for stash they picked up for $1,000/elbow. If it's not top 5% quality, they will not pay much at all, yet have no problem charging for it.

$350-$400 / oz here for the good stuff (premium strain indoor) Makes me glad I don't smoke it =P Even a small indoor grow around here would make someone alot of money if they didn't smoke it up first =D

I have bids on my plants before they are even finished.

No matter where you live, there's cheap dope to be found. It all depends on who you know and who they know and how much everyone involved is trying to rip everyone else off. The whole price/location thing is irrelevant if you ask me.

One guy might be paying 50 an ounce then turning around and selling it for 50 a quarter. Or me might sell it for 20 a quarter. It's all up to who's selling it. It just depends on how much money he wants to make versus how much dope he can move.

When an area seems dry it really isn't. Dope is EVERYWHERE. It only seems dry to you or your circle because of who you know (and who they know).

I moved from Texas ,,, The pesticides used in Mexi-bricks are crazy... no-one should smoke that stuff,,, Im sure someday Mexican weed will be as worthless as the dirt its grown in.(almost is).. As more and more states allow medical cannabis...the mexican weed will slowly take a backseat to fine grown herb...Not saying crap weed (too many pesticides) isnt grown here either... Just that most of the really, really bad pesticides are still being used down in Mexico...

dam being from humboldt i think i have only seen shitty weed once in arizona the kid thought he had some fire and it was garbage lol i just laughed at him ,i bet it was from mexico

I said MID-Grade, not schwag, homeslice. our mid grade here is called 'corn, or popcorn. it's not the brown frown brick shit we ship away to you poor unfortunates. we keep the good shit for ourselves, dummy. hate on it if you need to, but I've smoked crystal covered Mexican weed that'll knock your hydro-smokin dick in the dirt. ask any old head. oauxaca. you've no clue. and I've breen growing 'indoors since 89, so please save any claim that I'm not aware of what all's out there.

yeah.... OR the Mexicans will realize they're losing market share at an alarming rate and will be forced to improve the quality of their product in order to compete with what's being produced domestically. Which is precisely what is happening in reality. Just cuz Hector throws his shit in a pile to compost after harvest, doesn't mean Juan is doing the same idiotic shit! I kinda went into this topic in my Skunk Magazine article in their breeding issue a few months back.

I stopped smoking for 2 years becuz of price and i had a son. I told myself when i start smoking again i am growing my own and now i smoke everyday for a very low price. Some stores out here in so cal charge 75 8th fuck those guys. You have to search for good price down here

I know that some growers charge "rip off" their patients...but, many don't. In fact, if a grower in Cali wants to be 100% legal it's impossible to rip anyone off. We can only be compensated for our costs. One of those costs is the labor to produce the medication. Everyone needs to eat. Managing a 20,000 watt grow op takes 50+ hours a week, not including trim time. Add in warehouse lease, electrical bill, soil, nutes, and paying back the $60,000 initial settup costs. Factor in how much you are producing and you have your per/lb price.

The clubs that actually sell the weed to patients are supposed to operate under the same guidelnines. Most of them do not. We sell to clubs for approx. $3,800/lb. They charge 50-60 per 1/8. This works out to at least $6,400/lb....a $2,600 markup. Unless the club is moving very little medication, most are being compensted quite a bit more than their costs.

Bottom line...don't blame the grower. Producing top shelf meds is expensive.
