Very common. Docs make money when they get people on scripts bit not from MMJ so most docs don't want to hear shit about MMJ..... Luciky we have walk in "cannadocs" that make money of MMJ so they want to get you the card lol its all about money.

I appreciate the honesty. As a new member her I am still trying to figure things out. However I have learned the search bar does wonders for basic questions, and agree many new people aren't willing to put in any time on there own to find the answers. However, for example, my recent post for about a nutrient def with my seedlings has drawn confused looks from a few different members, but at this point it sounds like a boron issue which from what I'm reading is VERY uncommon.
I wasn't sure what other headline to put it under as I considered politics, but was more so looking for personal input from people who grow. Definitely willing to post in a diff section if someone could advise on this. Guess most of my friends that smoke turn into "philosophers" after they get a little ripped, so thought I throw it in here.
Again, I appreciate the honest answers!

So not true.... in both Co and WA thousands of products have been recalled for mold, sure they had no bugs but that too comes at a price... harmful pesticides.
Grow your own or find someone who does organic and smokes what they grow

I just saw a recall in CO over a pesticide issue is well now that you mention that. Guess I was just more so trying to see what other people see price comparison from different parts of country/world are. I have seen threads of how much weed costs in different places, but am wondering if there is as dramatic of price difference recreational vs medical and/or legal vs black market.

That seems to be going rate here in MN for black market as far as the 20/g goes. However, I've seen good quality oz run 300-350 on average, and have been fortunate ti find a guy in MPLS that had great quality in comparison to other options for 200-250. Unfortunately, the hook is long gone and moved on.
However, as far as medical go, its strictly extract and seems quite pricey in comparison to the black market comparison. I'm assuming in Chicago, being that it's medical, he probably has a few more options available to him rather then whatever strain has made its way here this week lol.

That's because the dispensary's in those states suck I'm told. The dispensary I go to is expensive as fuck but truely class A bud.
And my dispensary grows all its own meds themselves. Don't dispensary's in say California buy bud from growers? They don't do that here. No pesticides on any of my dispensary's bud. From what I hear the dispensary's in other states are a joke, selling bug infested clones for example. Maine is the best med state ATM, its just a very country state so we don't get all the hype other States do.

Not to intervene, but obviously there are many different opinions on dispensaries and quality as a whole. Definitely more interested in the price comparisons though of "medicinal" vs "recreational" I appreciate both of your inputs, but don't see this going anywhere positive as far as debating over opinions on dispensaries as a whole. Just my two cents....

No I believe it because I know what headie nuggets are... And yea they do get their flower tested, by a local lab that goes to every festival in the state and brings their equipment to test peeps nuggs on site.... Don't be mad dude, just move to maine. Let's get back on track like op has suggested

If you're getting medical grade bud in a non medical place that's when it should cost more, I think medical marijuana in California is overpriced, as I can find some strains out here that cost the same as out there, but yeah recreational should cost like regular kush $10 a g usually out here in tx. $15 a g to $25 a g for medical

So just to clarify my understanding. Your saying in a black market only state(non-mmj), that medicinal should have a higher expense over recreation? If I am understanding this correctly, I am assuming that you would still be referring to buds that go through testing in labs before being shipped to said location? For instance, often times you have people selling buds on black market that say they are "medicinal" bout how can one in a non-mmj be so certain of the product? On the contrary if it is a MMJ state, whether recreational is permitted or not, you feel that medicinal should be a lower cost? Just want to make sure I'm clearly understanding.
What about the odd states such as my own that have "MMJ" however only in extract form? Should said extracts being cheaper for medicinal use in comparison to to those sold on black market, in your opinion?

This is a great idea, but takes far more then it to be legalized on a state level. I believe this would require rescheduling of cannabis outside of the schedule 1 category on a federal level, wouldn't it? Even then I am sure it would be left up to the individual insurance companies to choose whether or not to cover it.
