This is no different than the commercials they do about how dangerous cannabis is.
They made sure CBC and HuffPo wrote articles about how risky it is to buy cannabis if you cross the border.
Take note they wrote these articles a year ago and nothing has happened since.

Stop shilling for the government

They should just come out and say it "If you cross the border, stay with the legacy market."
