what does two failures of obsolete fission reactors have to do with the imaginary status of fusion power?Been hunting around 3 mile island lately? Heard Chernobyl has good hunting, they even have camo radiation suits. LOL. progress is not always good
fusion power is still a pipe dream and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
using energy sources which actually work is a far better solution than hoping for a magical future power source which has yet to produce a single watt of electricity.
geothermal power works, and we have abundant resources for tapping that energy all around the country
hydro power has been operating quite effectively for over a thousand years now, and we got plenty of rivers which can be tapped even without dams
coal is still a fine choice with the new scrubber technology
methyl fuels are the choice for every racing organization except top fuel and nitro-methane dragsters
methane power is abundant, as it cometh from pig shit, so sayeth Master Blaster
there are many viable options, but fusion aint one of em.
