My humidity in my tent currently runs around 60-63%. My autos are turning 4 weeks old, and realize soon im going to need to have to control my humidity. I have all my strains indica except for one. Do you guys recomend a humidifier? I tried opening up the ports on the bottom, and thats what got me to my current humidity. This grow is in the basement next to a dehumidifer outside of the tent.

Not sure on the brand but make sure it can auto-restart after a power failure - that's a key feature.
Do you think getting a dehumidifer would be a good move? I really dont want to spend for an exhaust system at this point in time. Just need some to help bring it down a little lower.

You need to dehumidify the room the tent is in, not the tent itself, since it's constantly pulling air in from the room. A lot of people get a small dehumidifier for their tent then realize it hardly does anything.

So you dont have any exhaust fan or just not a very good one and dont want to upgrade?

I dont have an exhaust fan. Don't really want to get one either for this grow. Already spent 230 for light and 200 for a tent. Just trying to do this cheap.

Getting the air out is probably more effective in lowering humidity. I'd definitely say take a peek at the AC Infinity fans with the automatic temp/humidity controller.

You need an exhaust. A good dehumidifier can cost as much as a cheap fan and filter so I would get those first.
I mistakenly assumed he had a vent fan for his tent, that is 100% necessary. High humidity and an unvented tent = recipe for disaster. My dehumidifier works great for an extremely humid 390 sq ft space and cost about $150-it removes about a gallon of water every 4-6 hours when the humidity is high, amazing that we can breath that much moisture! Can anyone recommend a vent fan that would work for him, on the cheap side? Honestly, you can try growing without these two things, but you'll probably be back here with major problems soon. Be sure you have enough circulation within the tent as well.

A filter isn't required if you don't care about smell but an exhaust fan is a must have.

This hobby can get expensive but I would be disappointed if i spent over 400 on a light and tent just to end up with bud rot.
Idk. I may try a dehumidifer. I really can't keep blowing money at this time until I get a good yield.

Its your grow so do as you will but a fan isnt blowing money, its buying a necessity. Buying a dehumidifier is blowing money at this point in my opinion but good luck to ya.

I turned up my fan to see if that helps
A fan blowing inside your tent is only going to move hot air around it will not cool it off or bring in fresh air to help it also creates a positive pressure in a almost sealed area. Good luck!!!

Whats a good exhaust fan that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I got a 6x6x8 tent. Does it come with the piping?
