Pro Grow 90

Based on its specifications and other UFO LED lights I would guess a few things. First, do you need it solely as a veg light? Just a flower light? Or both?

In veg, it could potentially give 4 plants enough light to do their thing. Probably will not be the best. If you were doing 2 plants, I would feel they would do much better under 1 PG90.

Flower - I would only use 1 light per plant or as supplemental lighting. You will just end up being disappointed with yield if you try to flower more than 1 under the PG90.

Best case scenario would be a small space with tons of light reflectivity, 2 plants scrogged, and rig the PG90 on a light mover to go just past each plant at the max distance. Keep the light 6"-8" above. But then again, might as well just get a bigger light for the effort lol. Would be cool for a micro/stealth set up.

Well since Im only doing one or two LST plants in a stealth grow with a couple extra CFLs I think I might give it a shot.

If you're adding CFLs then I would say you def have the potential for a good grow using the PG90 on two plants.

I've been searching for more information regarding the pg90 14 band UFO as well (can't seem to find any solid grow journals with this unit in action). I'm tempted to pull the trigger on the pg180 but feel it's a bit overkill for my setup (16"x16"x48"); especially since I already have a 50w lighthouse hydro UFO. I don't really need the penetration power that the 3w chips offer because of my extreme LST methods.

everyone is going to tell you all PG lights are great...with no proof but airy looking underdeveloped buds...that seems to sum up all leds tho

these pics prove my point
I don't know what this dude is talking about man, those buds look tasty as hell, enjoy the smoke. I'm gonna bite the bullet and place an order for the PG90, 60 degree lenses should serve me real well in my micro tent.

Let me know how that goes. How what kind of setup are you going to use?

Considering the ave. yield off "the purps" is 1.5-2.5oz.... and I'm expecting 3-4oz dry....

Factor that in with the 4 weeks from seed to flower... I'm happy with the results.

Just got my dry weight, they're in the jars for curing now...

92g dry. That's with some of the stocks removed as well.... so I'm actually weighing less material the second time around.

They are sticky as fuck, and they smell amazing.

I have a small closet lined with mylar. Down low for side lighting are 4 regular bulb sockets. In these I rotate cool white and warm white CFLs, depending on veg or flower. My UFO (mostly red LEDs) hangs from the top. I supplement with 200 watts+ equivalent (we) CFL cool whites, in veg, and ~200we CFL warm whites in flower. I also have a Quantum Bad Boy 8 bulb HO T5 - 2 X 4 ft, but I use a mix of aquarium bulbs, which is similar to LEDs, but with total control of the spectrums. They also come in 24", which is an excellent alternative to LEDs
