Ive found now that depending on the size of my plants, they start to get deficiencies if I don't fertigate at least every 48 hours. The medium is still a little wet to the touch, but the plants start to yellow and seem unhappy. Watering more often allows you to adjust the level of the fertilizer and deliver fresh nutrients to the plant while theyre available in the nutrient solution. I've never observed any ill effects from "overwatering" in promix.
Every 24 hours is too much work, at that point I would set up a drip system. Which you can do. Promix is a very versatile medium. Thats why some of you can water every day and some can go 3-4 days. Really shows you how great of a medium it is.
There is also variance in nutrients. Some nutrients are designed to be absorbed by the plant right away and some are meant to be recirculated. Believe it or not nutrient companies actually do R&D and there are differences in their various lines.
Anyway, carry on with the pissing contest.
