I have grown a couple different ways in the past and have had great success. I started with tents, moved to small rooms, grown soil and different kinds of hydroponics. My wish would be to grow soil as I do not want to deal with hydro. What is the best possible set up or room you guys could think of for this room. my problem (i guess if you call it a problem), Should i veg huge plants and grow trees? will they be able to grow properly? or do I grow a bunch of small plants such as scrog or other techniques? Any help, advice, prior experience with tall ceilings would be much appreciated. thank you so much . help me out please!

You could grow multiple levels with diy cob leds and flat scrogs. You could easily do three maybe four levels with that much height.

You could be looking at it all wrong.
Having high ceilings is way better than not high enough.
You have options.
Perhaps look into vertical growing.
Grow em nice n tall around a cage with a light or two hanging in the center.

i hate u in the friendly way 14 foot god that is great

as for your set up ........i am going to share a sealed room as u have the ceiling for this
this will cost but u recover the money back by the 2nd grow

1 a mini split AC 2 ton ......i would place it about 10 foot on the wall
2 a Co2 burner .....i like LP over NG ....but if u have a gas range or something already NG might be better for u

those 2 things will allow u to keep the door shut all the time .......u will not need cycle the air as the ac cools the hot air in the room and the co2 burner adds the gas the plants need

go natural with the plants .....u have the space ......this will give u a baseline for your skills with that strain ....tweak what u are doing see if it improves or limits the results

Get those new double ended gavitas. They are killijg it on yield but they need a ton of head space, which you have lots of. You could do 6 footers with those gavitas and have head room to spare....

From my experience don't grow too tall because of light penetration Issues and you don't want to put all your hemp in one basket. Better to lose a month/ shrub, than a tree / year.

Vertical has real possibilities here. Everyone who says the vertical height is awesome is alluding to the fact that a tall ceiling height helps keep the warmest air above the plants... an advantage.

Nah... skip the ladder and use one of those little self propelled scissor lift scaffolds- gotta go BALLER, lol

Seriously, once a plant has hit 8' tall from the floor (including roots and system), I'm ready to go for a second floor and just run it again.
