Problem After Transplanting (With Pics)

Hey guys, I bought some clones off of a buddy, and planted them outside almost immediately after. I dug out a 3-5 inch deep, 3x3 feet big hole, and put in 18-10-10 potting soil. Having added any nutrients after that, made sure they had sufficient amounts of water, and the weather has been pretty nice, mostly sunny and 20+, with rainy days in between.

Seems like they grew a BIT, and then just stopped, and started yellowing a bit and some of the edges became "burnt" or "crispy". They've been out for about 1-2 weeks now.

I'm going out on a limb here and saying they got burnt from the nutrients, but I'm a newbie when it comes to growing.

Let me know what you guys think I should do now to save them. Thanks!

Were the clones rooted before you put them in the ground? If they were fresh off the mother without roots that is your problem, they can't eat without roots. Thye have to take in all water and nutes through their leaves right now or at least until they have roots, usually takes about 2 weeks for roots to show up on fresh cut clones.

If they are not rooted yet put a clear dome over the top of them to trap in some humidity and spray the leaves often with phed water. This should help

This looks like a british grow i have the same looking plants they are just not getting the sun they need dude like all our summers THERE NOT SUMMERS ANYMORE.But i do have some a.m.s strain that are growing well nice about 3 ft allready looking good but i feel the temps will let the yeiled down.

I put some plastic Tupperware containers on them. When I mist them, the containers get a bit misty inside and aren't 100% clear (for optimal sunlight). Is this okay?

How often should I spray them?

More opinions greatly appreciated.

id say you have them too close together first thing second is you prolly put neuts to them too soon or too much

Anything I'm able to do about too many nuts when planting directly in ground? More opinions greatly appreciated as well.

use soils without nutes or make your own out of peatmoss/pearlite vermiculite and id have them spaced atleast a foot apart cause when they realy start growing they are going to crowd and may cause problems

get good roots first on any clone,use clonex.dont feed neuts use a plant start formula for young seedlings n cuttings ie(vita link plant start)if you use rockwool you will see them lovely roots and know this is time to transplant!!! may the weed be with you!!!!

A couple times per day. The dome you are using will work. Give them some time they will pick up the pace. Good luck

Alrighty, let's hope all goes well.

Would transplanting them to regular soil (no nutrients) in an attempt to save them be a dangerous idea (kill them)? I think they're suffering from nutrient burn.

Hey Bra, jus lettin' ya know they are now growing and are getting healthier. They grew a few inches and are lookin' strong. A few of them died but they weren't doing so hot when I bought them.

Nice job. Glad they came around for ya. Clones can be fussy sometimes especially when they come from a different grow environment than the grow environment you end up giving them. They take time to adjust. Keep us posted and keep up the good work.
