Problem close to harvest, pic included, help needed!

Hi,

this one has been growing for about 10 week now from seed to this. It's an autoflower one, Big Devil. The buds are finally starting to grow but now all of my lower leaves (only fan leaves for now) are turning extremely yellow, though when I touch them they do feel healthy and even look healthy, it's just their color that changes. I grow using hydroponics, a simple system using a drip ring (waterfarm). I haven't made changes to the nutrient solution so I don't know if that would be the problem. I am concerned about the roots being in the bucket (water) without an air stone, could that cause these symptoms? I hope someone knows what's going on, it would be sad to lose this plant so close to harvest...

That is completely normal, dont sweat it. looks fine to me

I didn't know that was normal close to harvest, good to know though, thank you ! First time growing so still in the process of learning a lot of interesting things about this plant.

It's the plant using up stored food in their leaves, I would use plain water now unless your want your nugs tasting like shit and more dangerous to smoke. And GOOD JOB for your first time, looks good.....

Yes, I've read something about the plant using the stored energy in the leaves but didn't know they would become yellow (now I'm wondering if other plants also do this) . Thanks for the tip, another guy previously told me it would take 3-4 more weeks before it would be finished and I know I should start giving plain water 2 weeks before harvest. But I'll replace it in a few moments, I want this to be a good smoke ofcourse. Thank you for your help, Rep+!

lol i was same way about it. mine started yellowing only a few wks ago
