this is a 3 week old fem the church its in a 16 0z beer cup with a soilless mix with some worm castings i have the blue mountain organics line up , i used the SPT in the second week with a little superthrive. i had the fan over top the light and may have some wind burn, which i have moved. im using a 27 watt cfl 6500k. the leaves in the light are yellow and the teeth are brown but the under growth is nice and green, im thinking a nitrogen dific, or wind burn what do you think?

You have one of the following: Magnesium def, boron def, nute lock out due to high/low pH.

What you have to do is: buy molasses, add 2tbs/gal watering solution, this will fix any mineral def.

Check your pH, if it's not in the 6.0-6.9 range it's probably locking out nutes.

i have not feed it ,i just mixed worm castings with the soil and top feed it with the worm castings but i did use the super plant tonic and a very small amount of superthrive so i don't know!

Great contradiction!!! Superthrive should not be used until your 'plant' is properly established, worm castings are used for what reason??? As they have nutrients in them useful for plant growth and vigour... I think you should get the picture now.

I think worm castings tend to lowers pH as well. I suspect pH issues.

worm castings have 1-0-0 NPK , i don't think its the ph but maybe , i have been watering it with just distilled water with no feed , and i used SPT once in the second week

“Worm Castings” is the slightly venial way of describing worm excrement. The industry utilizes more scientific jargon, preferring the term vermicomposting to describe the use of worm waste as fertilizer. Earth worm castings are 1-0-0, but better quality red worm castings ar 4-2-3 with 6-8% calcium. Add this to your superthrive an whatever you have in your soiless mixture and you may have problems. Your ph is obviously a problem as is your attitude....dick!!! lmao....I love your plant its amazing....'Will molasses change the ph of distilled water', you really are out of your depth arent you. I come here to help you and get name calling from a probable teenager with no knowledge of ppm ph or anything else for that matter...

Molasses has a ph of 8-9 so I think it may have an effect...:wall:
Molasses cannot have a pH of over 7. All carbohydrates are acidic.

But if you stuck a pH meter in pure molasses you would get a 8-9, because moalsses has a higher viscosity than water (1.000) for which liquid pH testers are made.

Having a higher viscosity, molecules move slower, so the interaction between protons and the pH meter is lowered. The meter thus reads a lower concentration of protons, indicating a higher pH. Yet, if you would dissolve molasses in water, you'd have a slightly lowered pH than 7, since the viscosity is lowered and molecules can travel at higher speeds.

Edit: In case you don't believe me, I've dug around the net to find something useful to my point. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_1e_K0VaeiKU/STe-m7NwCqI/AAAAAAAAAzg/tVrCbwqk_io/s400/acid_alkaline_chart.gif. Molasses is first row under "Lowest acid", under processed honey.

I understand the confusion, because, industrially speaking, any and all syrupy plant extracts are called molasses, yet only two products on the market have the title molasses, the viscous syrup produced from sugar cane and some hookah tobbaccos.

thanks you doctor cannabis that helps and the ppm meters do not read the true nutrient level with organic compost tea and the ph is perfect when used as directed so ....
