Purchased a PHT-026 and it says to calibrate with a 6.86 solution I am using Hanna 7.01 and 4.01 as it is the only readily available calibration solution I can find in town without spending a hundred online. Is this okay? I am also using a 1500 ppm solution made by Hanna aswell. When I dunk my calibrater into the PPM solution it does not change at all.

Not only that the ppm does not change no matter how much I turn the screw the PH calibrates at 7.01 but when trying to calibrate at the 4.01 it does not turn past 5.4 Ph.

Solutions, advice much appreciated as this meter costed $100 and I cannot afford to buy anther and I am also running a RDWC with clones already implemented into the system so total nute measurement is urgent.

Sounds broken. The 7.01 solution should be fine to calibrate. Did u turn any of the screws too much, which people often do and it breaks the inside mechanism. Is it still under warranty?

I believe so. The ppm meter works in my medium reading up to 1000, but it is uncalibrated. And when dunked in the 1500 ppm solution it reads nothing?

Some meters you have to multiply the reading by 10X to know the actual reading.......sounds like either you have one of those or it's broken.
