problem with my plants

I have 4 plants going good but about 3 days ago the tips of the leaves started curling up and i have a problem with gnats that I am dealing with, I am growing in soil how do i get my plants back to normal

could be anything, literelly, you know why?? because you havent added any information or pictures in your post, try that and you will get sum sound advice and will help ur grow;-)

Okay they are only about a month old I used organic soil just started feeding them the last water I am using general hydroponics flora series. Could the gnats be doing it cause there are yellow spots on a couple of the leaves. I will be posting pics later today thanks for all you help

Could be phosphorus deficiency, or underwatering... What is your room temperatures? How often do you water them? How close are the lights to your plants?

i'm looking at my book and ffrom what you've described so far it sounds like it could very well be heat stress. could this be possible, what kind of temps are you running?

no foliar feeding the room temp is around 80f the humidity is between 50 and 70% i water them when the soil feels dry and the leaves start to fall sorry i am new at this i did some hydro but never had this problem. could it be the gnats doing it

where did you get the soil? are you sure its only 80 degrees at the top cola with the light on? where do you have your temp sensor at? why do you keep thinking it could be gnats? are there tiny black flies around?

yes there and gnats flying around and when i move the soil the gnats come out it maybe hotter at the top of them my sensor is at the bottom of them i got my soil from a friend not sure were he got it is 80 to high should it be lower do you want me to take any more pics ican go and take them if that will help

Looks like heat stress. Your thermometer may be shaded by your plant. If it is 80 down below I am willing to bet it is alot hotter closer to the light. I suspend my thermometer from the top of my tent with some string so it is about level with my canopy.

well hell if there is gnats flying around you must have gnats! and they are coming from that soil. if you dont get rid of them you open your self up for other problems like wilt fungi. suggested treatments from the bible are the following sprays; vectrobac, gnatrol, and bactimos.

your temp sensor should be next to your top cola, if ur at 80 degrees at the base of ur plant you are to hot, your problem is probably a combination of heat stress and gnats, if fact now i am almost sure of it.

are you feeding them nutrients? because lt looks like it could be nutrient burn from over feeding. with how small they are they should just be feed strait water. your soil feeds for at least a month...

okay my temp was up to 95 so i got it down to about 80 now will the yellow turn back green and the leaves start to uncurl now or no

If there is bleaching or damage to leaves it will stay that way. They should uncurl overnight if they continue to be cooled. I use a fan on the floor blowing up towards the light and it helps me keep the light close.

if your doing indoor and a 12 week cycle (thats not including the seedling or clone rooting stage) then i would feed at the last week of grow and into the first stages of flowering
