Hello everyone,
I/m a newbie and I really hope I can get an answer here as I am having a bit of a problem with my 1 month old white widow. The girl grows pretty fast, but I see the older leaves getting burned and some of the new ones getting their tips burned and curling upwards.
Is this a nutrient burn ?
Here are a more details about the plant :
1. I am using organic Canna Terra Professional plus (on their website they say that this particular soil has been pre-fertilized)
I am growing my White Widow outdoors in a 6 gallon recipient, so no artificial lights
2. I haven't used any nutrients until now
3. These are my PH and PPM readings
PH of run-off water is about : 5.5 - 5.8
PPM of run-off water is about : 3800- 3900 ppm Nacl , measured with HM CM-100 , the conversion to EC is about 7.9 EC
4. My tap water PPM is 150 and my PH is 7-7.2
Okay...I know the PPM/ec is huge for a month old WHITE WIDOW, from what I have been reading lately, nobody does more than 1800-2000 and that's in late flowering...
What should do to lower the PPM ? Do a nice flush ? I never done one before and I am afraid of drowning my WW....
P.S - The plant grows very fast in terms of new stems and leaves but I am loosing the old leaves in the process and some of the new ones got their tip yellowed/browned
Waiting to hear from some of the most experienced guys here
