problem with seelings,leaves pointing up.....

hey all

i curretnly have a seedling that was planted on 30th january under a 15w cfl.

it is loooking really healthy but when i woke up this morning the light waz nearly touching the plant and the leaves were pointing upwards..

i was wondering anyone knows if this is a sighn of good health or is there any problem with this happenining,

its normal if you mean the leaves are growing towards the light, but im thinking you could also be refering to stretching, can you show a pic or 2 to clarify things?

yea ill get a few up soon but ive only got my mobile phone and u cant really see that good on it so.....

this isnt actually my grow but the same kinda thing is going on..

my cfl is like 1-2" from the top of the plant.

thats normal. i do see a bit of stretching but it looks like that parts over now so it should be fine, when you transplant it just bury it so the bottom leaves are about a cm or 2 from the top of the soil.

ok thanks man also i can start to see little white bits on the tips of the leaves that are pointing up ,should i ignore this or just lower the light a lil?

could you get me a pic of the leaves that show the white tips in more detail from a few angles? how often have you been watering, whats your temps at? do you have a good venting system and a fan blowing on the bulb and plant to whisk away heat and strengthen the stems? it probally just got a lil too close to the light for its comfort and burned the tips a little. nothing to worry about most likely, just make sure its not too hot by taking the back of your hand and placing it at the distance from the light the plant is and hold it under there for a minute?
