Problem with the sun and outdoor growing

My grow site is right next to a fence with trees and foliage growing all around it. Because of this my plant only gets its sunlight when the sun is in the west. I think I could bend my plant and make the most out of my situation. I don't want my plant to become deprived of sunlight, so at what direction should I bend my plant? The fence is to the east and there is no sun that can get through it. To the north and south there are also trees overhead, so sunlight is minimum at best, but to the west it is open and the sunlight flourishes. Should I bend my plant parallel to the treeline, or bend it facing the sun to the west?

I would do that but I am trying to keep it hidden. If it is outside of the treeline it would be easily seen.
I had a friend years ago that cut down dead trees in the neighborhood. He would use a sling shot to set his climbing rope and climb to the top of the trees to cut down with a chainsaw. Anyways, he came up with this crazy idea to grow weed IN the trees at the top. Last time I saw him was at the end of a shroom trip we had and he showed me all his climbing gear and pots and seedlings. Said he was heading to the Santa Cruz foot hills.
If I have a point, maybe it is 'do whatever it takes to stay hidden and get the most sun'
