Problems with Flowering

Hi, first post to this new forum so thank you to everyone for the help in advance.
I've only been growing for the past couple months, still have many things to learn but I have a pretty good grasp on whats going on.

The pictures here are of 2 plants 3weeks into their flowering stage.

I'm using everything from Advanced Nutrients, please comment on the nutrients im using if I should do something differently, not use something with something, etc.

Nutrients:

Iguana Juice Bloom
Jump Start (just for Humic & Fulvic acid)
VitaBoost Pro
Sweetleaf
BigBud
Carboload (powder)


They've been happy as can be up until the past couple days, and like I said this is the first plant i've actually tried flowering so maybe I'm just new to this but two issues:

1. only one of the plants is starting to get these tiny yellow spots all over its leaves, it seems to be consistent on all the leaves on the top, it's hard to get a good picture but hopefully someone will be able to let me know why.





Hopefully thats a good enough picture.



2. Both plants are starting to have leaves die, they are wilting up and drying out, I'm not sure if this is just part of the flowering process considering there are still many many healthy leaves on the plant, so here are a couple more pics:

I would say you are having root issues-nned some more info-medium, ph, ppms, watering schedule, feed sched, what that set up is in pic.

thanks for the post, i figured they might just be hungry, but even when I feed them the one still gets tiny yellow spots on it, and has been that way for a week or so now. I do water/feed/water/feed and thats every 2-3 days, so im not sure if its the feeding schedule.

as for ppms im not sure exactly how to measure that? I have a ppm meter but I still am not quite sure how all that works.

the pH of the soil is about 6.4, i know 5.6 is optimal ill shoot more for that next time as well, just seeemed I was adding way too much ph down to make it go down to that so I'm not sure if its a malfunction in my pH tester considering its digital, I'll use litmus next time to check.


are the leaves supposed to be dying on some of the plant??

I didnt mean they were hungry-they are having root zone issues with not being able to uptake nutes. What is the medium you are growing in? looks like a rockwool cube in some sort of soil?

ahh, there is a 4" rockwool cube and its in cocoa earth.
not sure what i could do to combat this problem... repot it again with all fresh soil and fill it up closer to the top?

if you havent flushed, now would be a good time and immediately follow up with a feed. either that medium is drying out to fast or too slowly

okay ill definitely do that, so i basically should flush them and transplant them to new soil and all?

honestly I am not familiar with coco earth but assume it is a light and airy substrate? why dont you try flushing with 2-3 times amount of water than u r pot and see if they improve. I think insufficient o2 in your root zone.

how long were they in veg.??

they were in veg for probably a month and a half, we were going to use it for clones but decided to flower it instead. that may possibly be part of the problem?

u know it just occured to me re looking at those pics- she may be root bound-what is she 3.5 feet?

okay i just finished transplanting them, im pretty sure they will be okay, I got them into a pot all full of soil compared to roots.
I was careful not to break roots and I just kept flushing the plant and massaging the dirt out of the roots.
They're in a way better pot now.
You mentioned they might not have enough air, so I havean air pump set that up and now its bubbling in the bottom of the pot where the water sits (if you noticed the black tube sticking out of the pot, thats where i inserted the air tubes.

One is 17in. the other is a little more than 16in.

ok, I am confused here. you have them in soil but where does the air stone/pump go into?

Are you doing a sloppy coco come soil with hydro ideas?

I'm going to draw a bad picture in paint to try and explain, i can take the out airpump out of the whole system if it isnt going to help at all..




I hope that helps to describe what I cant in words.

Not sure if i should bother with the air pump or anyhting then? just thought it might help get air to the roots.

If its not a very good idea or wont do anything let me know, just trying to do what i can to save my girls.
